AccuWeather seems to think so. http://www.accuweather.com/blogs/news/story/34633/hot-weather-to-leave-northeast.asp

Is it really going out on a limb to say August will be cooler then July?

August is almost always cooler then july, and with how hot this july has been, its amost a no brainer

Accu weather is a disaster of epic proportions....

They also gave no real numbers as far as temps a very vague, coxed up story by them as usual

I'd be willing to bet that we have 5-6 days in September that are 90 or better.

Too. seems somewhat credible and why I said a while back we would probably hit 45 or so 90 degree days but not break the record. I can see about 10 or so days above 90 in August, but in 4 weeks I will be ready for college football weather and merely count down the days until next summer!!!! I have been plenty satisfied so far this summer so days with sun and upper 80s wont ruin my mood
