Just got back from Camelback... Dave Tolleris of wxrisk just issued his first guess with first call at midnight tonight - says right now calling this a major storm and possibly historic - will make that call with first or final call later...

DT is a bozo....

I respect his weather knowledge to a point, but he has serious issues!! He gets very defensive if you question him...like he is God or something when it comes to weather forecasting. I can't imagine why he blocked me from sending him emails last year when we were having an open #!@%*# discussion??

Sorry guys. I think this is funny.

Everyone, OK almost everyone, has changed totals. Even our beloved RG today, within hours of an initial post. That is what makes this fun. Mid Atlantic weather is not cut and dry. Heck, we even change totals as the storm is bearing down on us. The best anyone can do is predict with what is in front of them at that time. What fun would this site be if we knew days in advance exactly how much we are going to get? It would be boring here if that was the case. I like the excitment and hype...then let down...then cursing....mental breakdowns....then hype...It keeps us glued here doesn't it...Admit it...you like it too....LOL

"I have lost all respect for the man" What did he do insult your family? its just weather man. Maybe just losing faith in his predictions this winter is enough. you make it sound so personal.

Will need to be expanded West, south and north at least several more counties. I would go east, but nothing out there but the fishies.

he was pretty good for the last storm - everyone busted out your way (except me...lol)...maybe he called for rain 7 days out for the last one, but changed his tune within 5 days... and did well with the Xmas storm as well. Believe me, he knows his stuff... just as much all the other idiots on tv, the web, and hell, even here... lol...

Yeah, DT is a very well respected meteorologist out of Richmond, VA. He is usually very accurate but has been less than stellar this season.

DOC. But he has blown this year. He said the weekend storm was going to be rain, and he messed up the December storm as well. His finaly snow preidiction for Lancaster this past weekend was 10 inches. He should have doubled that. I have lost all respect for the man. Sorry. As they say, there is always next year!

well that's promising

i wonder why he doesn't have lower totals out east though, since everyone seems to think there's going to be mixing there. HMMM. Well, I'll enjoy looking at this map until I know otherwise lol.

Make a guess and stand by it. Jesus xmas.....every storm from now on I am going to give a guess then continue to update my guesses until the storm is over. Then I will give my final guess the moment it stops snowing.

HOLY POOP!!!

I know....I just called the S**T Poop.
