About Me
long time weather lover!! I have been tracking weather almost all my life. and i really enjoy tracking severe weather. the mid atlantic is a very hard area for forecasting as we have the ocean influeance to interfear with severe weather and then in the winter it can be the difference between rain or snow if the tempeature is right.. but we also have times of beatifull weather where it is just 75 and cloudless.

I think my most memorable weather experience was a severe thunderstorm up in maine when a down draft blew water right across the lake... but my second most memorable experience was predicting the slizzard of 2007... what a challenging storm that was.. and i want to mention a 3rd one that brings back great memories i belive it was 2003 what a flood that was.. I happended to be camping during that and well it was right next to raging stream that was rising ever so fast..in fact all the hiking trails were literly flooded out up at rescia falls scount reservation in the poconos... and that did lead into the delawere which also flooded out severly and badly damaged the delawere canal..anyways when a storm is coming or the weather is on the wild side or just a typical afternoon storms pases.. whatever the weather brings and wherever it is in the world you will find me talking about it right here at liveweatherblogs.com and a few otehr sites as well. weather is my biggest passion and I tend to keep it like that for as long as I live.

I always say if you cant predict the weather look up to the sky or follow signs of nature. remember if the leavs on a tree curel up its going to rain. and if the bees build there nest real high look out a bad winter is coming. i hope there are many out there that feel the same pasion as I do from looking at the models to radar to just looking at the cloud formation in the sky. if you learn something from me in my postings or in chat thats good enough for me even if the weather event is a flop or Dud.. so see ya around the wild and crazy world of weather.
