This is the stupidest thing I have heard of in a long time. These Politicians are just trying to get more money for their $100 a roll toilet paper! I am sick of the government taxing us on their faults. I have lived in this area for a long time and there are always some trying to make money on 'Saving the Chesapeake". Out of 100% of money for the Chesapeake only a small % comes out for true cleanup. The other funds go to paperwork. As a person who studies weather, we know that a tenth of mile can make a huge difference whether you receive a inch or a half inch of rain. I don't believe the "calculated through satellite surveillance" will be accurate. Just look at the radar on some days. Looks like it is raining on top of your house but it is not thanks to Virga. Is this technology going to pick up that? The only true amount that can be measured is to have a rain gauge on your property.
