I don't have a picture, but I have seen a full circle rainbow! I use to do airborne traffic daily for both radio and television in the afternoon here in Tucson, Az. This particular day, my pilot and I were both having questionable days. My boyfriend (my previous pilot) had just taken a job with NBC to do Sunday and Monday Night Football. He got all the aerial shots for the games. Great opportunity for him, but suddenly we were in a long distance relationship. Deep down, I knew we were doomed, needless to say I was a bit of a mess. My replacement pilot, Tim was uneasy that day because he was waiting for a call. He was possibly headed to China to fly for an obscene amount of money. Due to instability, we were having a pretty deep discussion about life, and choices. I said, "I just wish I had sign. Something that would let me know that everything would be ok." He chuckled and said, "I could use a sign too....if your listening God." At that moment, a rainbow formed around our plane. It was a thick, complete circle that surrounded us. It was magical, and the most vibrant rainbow I have ever seen. Tim, and I both did sanity checks to make sure neither one of us were imagining it. We weren't, it was there and it lingered for nearly four minutes!! It was a bonding and reassuring moment for the both of us. Some might say it was just science, the sun...but I like to think it was a little message from my maker. I believe that because after several minutes, I laughed and yelled, "OK! WE HEAR YOU GOD!!" At that moment, the rainbow disappeared. It was magnificent!

I doubt this will be anything like December 2009(I wish). There is smply not enough cold air in the pattern. I remember an arctic high in the perfect spot out in front of that 2009 storm. No such thing this time around. Plenty of activity, but no cold air equals more rain.

Glad we had all the trees on our property cut down a few years ago, they were old and diseased. Now just have to worry about the neighbors trees.
