Just an FYI, the south side of Chicago did not get HALF of that. =P~ However, some of the snow fans in extreme NE Lake County (IN) and Porter County (IN) did get a nice Lake Effect Plume that dumped up to 7" in one hour. That enough made this winter memorable for me.
Look like Chicago made the comeback in the end here in March. We could see another late season storm or two so we may add to the 30" Chicago now has this season.

Ummm all I will say is this ... in my life time I have never ever seen such warmth extending from the Gulf of Mexico all the way to the northern reaches of Canada you are talking 20 to even 30 degrees above normal Wow!!
All time record highs today in Florida 88 degrees on January 9th???

Yeah you are in the doughnut of snow. The track has shifted a bit to the east coast the next 10 days but I see a few small events possible.
