High pressure will be over the Northeast today giving the area a well deserved break from the high heat.  Highs will be within a few degrees of 80º and the humidity will not be oppressive.  Normal high temperature for Central Park is 85º.  A stray storm is possible during the late afternoon, but most areas will be dry.
