State OF Emergency : Derecho Destroys VA Landscape, over 6 killed

Appalachian Power rep: 'This is the worst damage that we have seen ever'

Good Evening,

An Extremely Powerful Derecho formed in indiana yesterday and ran its damage path strait to the atlantic ocean thru va with hundreds of thousands without power , lots of damage and 6 ppl killed. The State Of VA is in a state of emergency  as emergency workers such as my self spent hrs checking on human life.

The Derecho ran thru my parts just after 900p. I recorded a 81 mph wind. THere were so many trees falling and u could hardly stand . Lawn furnature and wood became flying projectiles. It is one of the worst 5 weather eventshave seen in my life ,

You can clearly see where the derecho moved thru . below is a radar capture that someone posted on youtube

Looks like WildWeather to me. My friend Ron is driving through North Carolina and South Carolina in route to Cape Coral Florida and it was no walk in the park there either.

As a matter of fact there appears to be extensive tree damage all along I-95 from North Carolina to South Carolina as reported by Ron Koran as of 2PM Monday, July 2nd.
