The jet stream, that river of air that guides are weather systems 25,000 feet up in the atmosphere is in a Jam. Meaning systems are not moving, a blocking pattern. At least we will experience fine June weather, with plenty of sunshine, and not a cool, rainy situation that could last for days. High pressure over the Northeast and Atlantic will give us a flow off the cooler Atlantic. For this reason temperatures will stay at or below seasonal levels right along the coast through Monday. The farther inland you live in the NYC tri-state area, the higher the temperature will be. Basically 70s will rule, A few 80º readings inland.
For today mostly sunny and seasonal. Highs near 80º, cooler at the shore. Winds will be out of the Northeast at 10-15mph.
