I have seen a few post on twitter, and more post on facebook asking why is the snow "Sparking". Due to the extreme cold we have had the last few days, the snowflakes form with a shinny surface from being colded and the ice forming.
Also with the moon shining so brightly tonight that as well helps with it. Hope that answers some of the questions on why the snow looks like glitter tonight. Pretty cool stuff.
On topic.. It was the most perfectly crystallized snowflakes I've ever seen.... It literally made a different noise when shoveling/brushing away. Is this the type of snow Canada gets?!? Lucky!!!
