TWC Named Winter Storms
I know there was another blog started about this, but I couldn't find it. Does anyone know why TWC decided to start naming winter storms? After clicking on their page today and seeing "Brutus" affecting the west, I personally think it's a lame and somewhat confusing idea. Why don't they give it a number or something else? Anyway, that's my two cents!

It is silly. I liked that channel better when it was nerdy. Like all the other used-to-be-nerdy channels I guess!
The reason that they are doing it is because (1) they want ratings ratings ratings and (2) they think that they are more important than any other weather outlet or professional meteorological organization.
It's a pretty silly move on their part, and nobody else is using their nomenclature.
