High pressure will produce scattered cloud cover and light westerly winds today through Thursday.  Comfortable conditions can be expected as high pressure shifts towards the Mid Atlantic coast.  Temperatures will steadily moderate through the week as warm air invades from the Gulf Coast.  Temperatures will rise into the upper 30's to lower 40's over the interior and lower to mid 40's along the coast along the coast for highs.  Low temperatures through Thursday will range from the upper 20's to mid 30's.  High temperatures tomorrow through Thursday will range from the mid 40's to lower 50's.

A cold front will approach on Friday with periods of heavy rain in the afternoon and evening.  Temperatures will spike into the mid 30's for lows and upper 40's to mid 50's for highs on Friday.  Thereafter, the cold front will stall just to the south of the region with variable cloud cover.  Temperatures will range from the lower to mid 30's for lows and upper 30's to mid 40's for highs.
