Update: 5:52 AM

The going forecast overall has not changed for much of the forecast area, although I did expand the snow and ice threat for northern New Jersey a bit more.  I am growing concerned for the rest of the region considering the persistent northeasterly winds in place, temperatures at or below freezing, and dew points in the 10's out ahead of this storm.  Not to mention the 1030 MB high pressure system to the north over Ontario.  99% of the time, these factors lead to a storm track further east and an icy mess for many throughout the region.  However, for now the forecast is unchanged.  I will have live coverage throughout the day to keep an eye on this developing storm once normal updates are complete!
