High pressure centered over the St. Lawrence River Valley will be in complete control through the next several days over the New York City and Philadelphia metropolitan areas.
A weak disturbance passing to the southeast of the New York City and Philadelphia metropolitan areas will produce scattered to variable cloud cover through this evening. Winds will be from the north at around 5 to 10 mph. Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid 50's for highs this afternoon.
High pressure will produce generally clear skies tonight on through Monday with light and variable winds. Temperatures will remain near normal with lows in the lower to mid 30's over the interior and upper 30's to lower 40's along the coast and highs in the upper 40's to lower 50's over the interior and mid 50's along the coast.
Scattered cloud cover can be expected Tuesday through Friday with temperatures remaining near normal for this time of year.
