JEEZ Charles stop asking every question OVER AND OVER. You out of the 26 comments, you have like 20 of them. JUST STOP, your spamming this site, TROPICAL SEASON is right now, WINTER SEASON is not even close, another 2-3 months and we can start talking. And man, all you care about is what happens RIGHT OVER your head. Get a Grip.
Charles, enough already! You have asked the same question a million times and have gotten the same answer. I know that you are near Philadelphia, however it doesn't mean that everyone on this site is! You can't ask us exactly how much snow we will get this winter, and then claim that "you don't care about the tropical season because no hurricane will hit your area and it's boring." Maybe other people want to talk about the tropics. And just because you have your mind set on the fact that a hurricane won't hit the east coast, doesn't mean that the season is over! WE STILL HAVE 3 MONTHS LEFT.
We can't all get out our crystal balls and tell you exactly how much snow you will get either. Please take a breather and stop asking the same questions over and over!
If we end up getting not many or no tropical storms at all affecting the U.S. we will get a lot of snow I think because el nino means less storms because of more shear which we are seeing plenty of this year. If we do get many storms in the end, I think we will continue the snow drought streak with a la nina developing and we will see a 2012-2013 repeat. Hopefully not! I just have that feeling that we are going to get what we've been waiting for and we will get a weak to moderate el nino with a good 30-40+ inches of snow total and the snow drought will end after two years and we could slowly but surely begin our LITTLE ICE AGE!
