Well, as predicted most areas were able to have their fireworks rain free and thunderstorm free.
Now that the artificial fireworks are over the natural ones seem to be taking over in a few locations at this hour.
We have a few scattered thunderstorms causing quite a light show in Atlantic County and others moving due south from the Lehigh Valey and the Allentown area towards the five county Philadelphia region.
These storms should remain below severe limits not out of the question one or two get strong we shall see.>>>>> and just as I say this there is now currently a Severe T Storm Warning Berks County looks like gusty winds and hail is the main threat with that storm.
Plenty of fuel in the way here with dewpoints now sitting at 75 here in Media with 84% humidity ouch!
Already have a warning for portions of Bucks and Montgomery Counties until 12:30 am for large hail and damaging winds in excess of 60mph. Movement of storms are off to the southeast at 35mph.
Tops on these storms are up to 45 to 50,000 foot..
Just a side note, over at Pittsburgh, they are getting hammered with severe weather. Numbers reports of 3/4 inch size hail.
Looks like mother nature wanted to close out the 4th..
Could shape up to be an interesting night if anything these storms coming SSE are holding their own or slowly developing severe warnings continue for Berks County in PA and Atlantic County in NJ
