JULY 2012

So we all know June ended with a bang with severe days of severe weather and extreme heat but what will July bring to the Delaware and Lehigh Valley ?

Pretty much the same for the first 8 days of the month. After that things will calm down a bit mid month before we see more severe weather and heat.

We could see temps below normal mid month so this has changed my orginial outlook of +3.5 to +2 for July. The rain will come in streaks with most in the usual thunderstorm activity. Expect a wide range of rain totals this month with above normal thunderstorm activity.

In terms of hurricanes Rob all I can say is the current water temps are 81 at Cape May and 86 at the Mouth of Cheasepeake Bay and through the Bay.

Water temps are well above normal up and down the East Coast but especially above normal VA Beach right up through the Canadian Maritimes.
