Summer 2012 Outlook

We are moving from the La Nina (LA NADA) Winter and Spring to a developing Weak El Nino pattern the next 2-6 months. This means a rather neutral pattern the next few months. Pattern changes often can bring a variety of weather but more often than not it will bring temps and rainfall near to slightly below normal.

We'll see June as a cooler than normal month and rainfall near normal. July looks about the same with temps off by a degree or two. Rainfall is near normal for July. August will bring a bit warmer temps and above normal rainfall esp. with a chance of a tropical system up the coast in mid to late August.
