Vinland got 3 inches that was most I could find in south jersey .The rest of southern jersy along 295 was a solid 1 to 3 .Brian I am hoping you got that coating .Those who got your inch well I told you so.Planning A trip to SUGAR HOUSE who ever wants to go I can meet you there .I am so hot we will all walk out as winners. More snow coming I hope so I love forecasting with my dice darts and clown hat.Remember love the one your with.
Photos are unnecessary, the proof of this is in the absence of proof, (zero information regarding hypothesis of why an outcome will occur, nothing on guidance, nothing regarding reason or logic). By the way, I just complimented him.
Rebel; Yes your forecasts are "weather bingo/dart toss/exact to nws" or whatever else, but I don't hate you at all, your a character and characters are what make things fun around here, (other than a big storm), people, even myself included have directed comments toward you that some would take personally, I'm glad to see that your mature enough to not react in that way, keep tossing those darts, if nothing else it's good entertainment.
Well I gotta hand it to you. The RebelG Shampoo model (shampoo directions model to winter storm forcasting) is the way to go. Predict 1-3 in a post, wait, repeat. Spot on for 2012-13.
Pretty soon these guys will be knocking at your door begging to use your "dart board". I think you should start a tissue company next..I have a good name for them but I'll get moderated.
"I want a goose! I want a golden goose, and I want it now!!!" Boo-Frickin-Hoo. It's almost baseball season. Time to switch tracks. Better luck next year.
Great job Rebel. Not sure where in Vineland got 3 inches. I live here and just got a rally having coating, maybe an inch. The total was recoreded from a trained spotter. I agree, this is getting boring. Bring on Spring!
Rebel I'm not a gambling man but if I end up at the Casinos I'm taking you with me bro! I think you will pretty much have this upcoming threat nailed down by tomorrow at 5 AM.
Reb was wrong!! Only measured .08 out here in WC. I know, you weren't forecasting for the western burbs...eh what? Anyway, I have been honking about this weekend for a week now and I am not giving up! It seems as the models are getting a better sampling of that arctic disturbance and they are becoming more impressed. Ratios would be higher because of the cold upper levels, so we shall see. Euro still remains unimpressed, but the Euro didn't do so well with this last system(last to jump on board).
If we had a -NAO these past 6 weeks we would have had much more snow...if....if...if!! The funny thing is that the salt crews have probably used more salt this winter than they did in the epic winter of 2009-10!! They have to keep putting salt on the road for all these little events....I count 11 to this point for a grand total of 11 inches of snow here in WC.....woo hoo!! Now where the hell are my dice, darts and clown hat?
This winter is boring everyone outside of New England. Everything is a 1-3" or 3-6" storm for EPA. Very progressive flow ALL winter. With the NAO staying near neutral nothing can get cranking up the coast. Saturday is another 2-4" looking kinda storm. The blizzard was an anomaly this year and really should not have happened the way it did given the signals at the time.
