Philadelphia V-day storm looking better and better

VDay storm looking more possible for Philadelphia area

12z runs coming in and boy have they trended towards the Gfs solution of decent snows Balt through Nyc. This storm just keeps on appearing as a coastal on the maps.

Now to go through what each model says-

Nam- 4-8 inches of snow(Rain/mix-Snow)

Gfs- 1-3 inches of snow(Rain-Snow)

Cmc- 4-8 Inches of snow:( (ALL SNOW)

Euro- Looks like 2-4(Went way north though) (Mostly snow)

This is looking like the next decent snow event for the East Coast especially Baltimore- New York City.

I will have my first call forecast out around 3pm

I still think Philly may finally see a snow event from this at least. Nothing big, just normal id say. 3-6" event. It'll be phillys biggest storm so.

I am going to ignore NAM (Not Again, Monty!) until late Tuesday into Wednesday because of what it did to us with the last storm. Not trustworthy this far out.

Sorry... that raw is coming from the GFS.

Hmmm..... the raw data does not support this in the Philly area. SFC to 1000ft temps are a big issue and only showing a total of .43 of precip for the whole storm.

Cmc is perfect for this winters shaft zone. 295 area in SNJ and Philly airport make out great on the cmc. Cmc hasn't been too bad as of late so it's hard to ignore..
