GFS has recently let go of this storm, well.....take a little look at this run by the 06z gfs.
Here it is at 144 hr. 983 Low
Again at 150 hr. 967 Low pressure
Then at hour 156, a 957 LOW pops up near New England
New England could get demolished.
Luckily we down here still have time to iron it out, lets hope we can get the blizzard this time and not them, not just cause I want it, there could be life threatening and disasterous snows ontop of already 40 inches.
By the way, Ihope everyone up that way is safe and God Bless.
If it makes you feel any better I will admit that I may be wrong about the VD storm(now that the Euro has come on board somewhat). Of course, the verdict isn't in on either of these storms yet.
Tim, I'm just having fun with ya brah. I know you don't know me, so it is ok. I'm a bit of an agitator...nothing personal. I have done many blogs on here in the past. There are plenty of people blogging, so no need for me to add to it and I don't really have the time anyway.
I've been honking about this for quite sometime now and Tim told me the models had nothing, so that meant I had to be crazy!! How bout those 3 inchers of snow for the rest of the winter that you predicted?? 1.5" in the bank with plenty more showing up in the near future...woo hoo!!
Gus the storm would develop Saturday off shore and come to the area by very early Sunday morning, with precipitation probably starting in overnight hours. I am in LI so down in Philly it would be an earlier timeframe with the precip.
SgtSnow? Did I start that lol, I made a blog to try to help others and Mark has to come on here saying I told you so and what not, like honestly get out of here Mark, its obvious your a young kid, nothing wrong with that but damn, let me do what I do and worry about your self.
To all: I have an important event on Saturday late afternoon/night and Sunday morning in Center City Philadelphia: What is the timing of this and impact on travel, etc? Thanks.
I just wanna say that I predicted a snowy February with MJO. Remember I told you that, Tim? I was right. That is all I needed to get off my chest. Anyway, Lets enjoy the snow.
i saw them, much more bullish and better development and phasing earlier. Look at that deep trough over the weekend! that combined with a ridge and slightly negative nao!
and also pertaining to the vday storm, the euro JUST came around on that and it is 2 and a half days out, but the trend is there, better than ooz and ensembles are much better than the op
