Gfs/GGEM/ukie also show that same storm around 160-180 hours away. I remember when this storm was 180 hours away :(. Anyway. Looks like a good shot around jan 31-feb 3 is the next shot at snow. Very nice ridge out west as of now on the models deep trough, looks like a nice setup. Hopefully we can hold onto that in the long range and sneak a storm out next week.

Trying my best to toss some GOM moisture during the overnight here in the mid-south. :)

I think this little storm is going to dump closer to five or six inches in some areas. It looks a little more amped at this hour.

Your right 98 yanks. I'm just hoping the coastal develops early and some banding could develop n drop a quick 3-6 inches anywhere from Dover to toms river nj. Wish casting at this point lol

Definitely agree Mike. Shows a big storm, which is now more than 1 model run. This might finally be the window of opportunity to get something very big. But, again, this just what the model shows now. Definitely have been reading some of the discussions out there that the first week of February is the time to watch.. How about a nice Super Bowl blizzard.. Prefer if the storm hit on Saturday.. Ah well, let's see what happens..

Yes but how much of that is actually reaching the ground? Not all of it. Snow over Green Bay Currently not reaching the ground.

Oh ok thanks Reggie. The radar from the Great Lakes looks better than models show it. Lets see how it develops by tomorrow morning .
