GFS has gone up a bit from the 0z last night,...so the .03" goes to .12" now for Philadelphia. .11" now in Allentown vs. 06" and .13" in Baltimore vs. 03". So we are seeing a bigger precip field and a small merge between the northern and southern jet. The trend is slowly and little upward as of this morning for snow on Friday night.
The Fluff factor is about 12:1 to 13:1 so we are in the 1-2" range with a few isolated 3" totals as of the GFS this morning. The Euro came in at .15" to .20" with Philly at .18". This off the fluff factor is 2-3" of powder snow Friday night into Saturday morning. It's making a small come back so this is a good sign if you like snow.
with all the model trends before the euro this doesnt "stop" the trend..its one model. We will see how the models do again tonight and if the trend continues than the euro should catch on or it would be an outlier.
Ok just threw in the towel with this storm on friday i encourage everyone to focus their attention further downsteam. The euro just verified more shear and supression when it comes to this storm. Checkmate game over !!!! New game with more promise is 12z gfs at around 177 hrs looks like somthing brewing A -Millerish
Hope you reconsider Marcus. Water off a ducks @$$. I know you faced worse in you life. Don't let them get you down. Most often a person statements say as much about them as the subject the address. They are young and dumb (just like we were at one time). Hopefully the will learn the was a reason you were given 2 ears but one mouth. Listen twice as much as you speak. That's how one learns.
