Jan 17 -28 Snow Chances
Jan 17 Storm has the potential to finish as snow, maybe a few inches. But the real guy to watch around the PHL area will be coming around jan 20-21. The cold air will be dammed all the way down to virginia. This storm will be a slow moving coast hugger and should be watched!
There is another storm on the 24 to be watched, as well as the 28.

OMG calm down people!!!!!!! For gods sake, you are treating winter like your life depends on it! ITS JUST WINTER! So what if we dont get any snow? Plus, people are basically commenting on how furious they are at people who said that winter would be cold and snowy. so far it has been pretty snowy, just not in the passed 2-3 weeks. We still have Feb and March to go through- the months predicted by these weather websites to get the most amount of snow. And also, dont get people excited about ONE model run 15 days away from now that WILL change.
Last week it was the 15th now the change is around what the 19th or 20th, and the real arctic air won't make it east. I think it was around the 15th last year we were supposed to see a big change. We all remember how well that worked out. One month of winter wasted. If we're really lucky we might get a week of real winter weather. This winter seems like it 's gonna be just like last.
If you just go with the pattern we've been seeing I"m thinking ten days out we will continue to see cold and snow which will disappear as we get closer. Southeast ridge looks to be in full effect his winter unless something drastic happens. I'm getting ready for spring in tminus 22 days and counting.
Once February is here and the cold is still not settled in I think we may have to do some reevaluating of winter forecasts. not that it can't snow in Feb and March for that matter but do we really want snow in late Feb and March that is half gone the next day with a strong sun angle?? Not really but I guess we will take what we can get.
Until it snows and gets cold again go out and enjoy the weather. It's the only weather you have!
