It will not be much if we even get It but I did notice the NAM picking up on a little snow Saturday night into Sunday morning. It will be all snow if this even happens so here goes.
So this little impulse is all part of the Texas storm that dumped up to 8" of snow in the El Paso area and a few inches in Southern New Mexico and Mexico yesterday.
Sure is weird when Mexico has more snow than NYC and Philly. You can see the rain now across Central and Eastern Texas as it more slowly North and East.
MY THINKING AT THIS POINT...
The NAM model run above is not my forecast but it makes this system worth watching the next 36 hours. I do think we'll see snow showers late tomorrow night...like after midnight.
The best area to see a little accumulation would be the Lehigh Valley to the Poconos over to NW NJ and NYC metro. The long Island area to Southern New England could even see an 1" or so and most would be near the coast. It's not a big deal but hey we'll take a few flakes in January right.
Oh I see it now on the GFS too but at best for the Delaware Valley 5 County area flurries with speckles of snow to show on the grass. This is left over from the New Mexico and Texas Snowstorm... should get pretty beaten down before it gets here by a very fast progressive flow... down slope those winds off the mountains probably means nothing more than a passing flurry.
NWS says 20 percent of snow for Gwynedd, PA tomorrow night and Sunday. Big whoop!! lol I guess anything is better than nothing as far as snow. Let's keep hoping.
