GFS/oz rain snow line moving
Hour 144 is the rain snow line about 500 miles north into Cananda?Is this the coldest part of winter /Janurary? What are the chances the models will trend colder ,we dont need wetter just colder.Golfing Tuesday at Valleybrook. Two spots open for a 100 pm tea time.Enjoy the nice dry weather until next Thursday/Friday rain/snow storm!

My opinion is that the pattern is too flat and the snowpack too large to our north too support a surge of warmth as currently depicted. It will undoubtedly be warm next week and any system will be liquid for us but you shouldn't get any powerful cutters that pump the warmth into Canada. I would bet we top out in the low 50's next week before a return to more seasonable weather to follow. I do like that the models are starting to pick up on a more stormy pattern coming up. The more storms to track the better the chances.
Whats incredible to me is with supposed arctic air in place on Jan. 4th the temperature here in SJ is 34 degrees at 8am with no sun influence.
Haha good golfism Reb! I like the temperature and front nine comparison. I'm with ya on the rain/snow line so far north. I've decided the plow will remain on the ground and off the atv unless snow is imminent.
I think I'll be ready to ride my motorcycle this year well before plowing but we shall see. I love what I do for work and warmer temperatures equal more money for me so I say "Get some!"
