Boston Summer Outlook 2013 (Updated April 3, 2013)

So Boston got most of the snow on the tail end of winter so does that mean a slow start to summer? No not at all. The spring should end on the warmer than normal side and we'll parlay that right into the start of the summer 2013.

We are not going to be under the influence of La Nina or El Nino through September at this point so what do we use as the deciding factor this summer?

Boston is going to have a slightly above average summer with a few periods of 90 degrees but they will not last all that long. Precip will be near to above average simply due to the higher than normal number of summer thunderstorms from mid June to early September.
