Look, I'm no Winter 'expert', that's why I use this site. Also, I come here to bask in the enjoyment of the many other Winter lovers on this site. First and foremost I am a if not THE snow lover of all.
I am giddy at the thought of an impending 12"+ snow. I take great pleasure in the insecent whining of the people in our region that they might have to shovel a bit of snow. Imagine that, snow, here in the Northern Mid-Atlantic, how odd. I fine it more than a little amusing listing to many of the local TV 'METS' sounding the alarm of 'Snowmagedan' or 'The White Death'.
I like many here, hang on seemingly every model run for that one hope that we might see some snow. I stake out the reading of the Winter Outlook like many sports fans do with the NFL draft. So, after last year's dreadful snow drought I was cranked up about the possibility of above average snow fall for this Winter.
Okay, here we are 2/3rds of the way through the season with not much to show for it with the exception of some pretty weak systems. So, this is what I'm asking for from the Weather-folk of this site. Truth and optomism.
I don't want any false hope, I'm a big boy I can take the truth. So please, don't give me false hope and then end up pulling the football away as I approach.
So, what do you think? Are we done for or are there still signs of life for this Winter season? I hang on your every word, no pressure. I bought two new shovels this fall and they still have the stickers on them. What say we change that.
HaHa! I sound just like you! I am obsessed with checking this site for ANY chance of snow! I just want one big blizzard to hit, is that too much to ask?! lol Glad I'm not the only one who is hanging on the weather guys words! Just wish Harrisburg PA could get some snow, more than an inch here, an inch there. I would like about 2-3 feet of snow!
