Starting once a week, I will be sharing with everyone Weather Trends, which will review past Upper Air, Temperatures and Precipitation Totals. I've always said, that looking at past weather data is vital to understanding certain weather patterns and what it may mean toward future weather.
To check out the slides, head over to my Word Press site at
Also, Monday through Fridays, you can check out The Weather Daily, which is similar to a weather journal that will review weather headlines, to current and future weather, and a quick behind the scenes to what meteorologists look at in the long range.
Starting this Sunday, I will be debuting the US Hazards Outlook, which is produced by the Climate Prediction Center. This webcast video series will be TV like broadcast. In this program, I'll be sharing with you analog years that they have developed for the 6 to 10 Day and 8 to 14 Day Outlook. So, I'll be showing everyone what those years mean in terms of the upper air, temperatures and preciptation. Then I'll share with everyone the potential weather hazards for the upcoming week. Finally, I want to introduce a weather risk matrix table that will be high level showing what hazardous weather could be in the cards in the 6 to 10 Day and 8 to 14 Day Outlook periods. So, stay tune and I'll post on Sunday when everything is up on the site.
