Oh yeah Kevin,

I'm in Forked River, Ocean County, along GSP. Scary, rolling, roaring gusts rattling the house as I type.

Kevin,

The quakes are about 24 hours apart, but yes probably related

and they have persistent active subsurface volcanic activity off the coast also.

Yanks Oregon had a 5.3 mag earthquake about 150miles off shore wonder if they are related?

Winds here in Media relatively calm drizzle with 10mph winds.

Yanks where are you at... some of the storms in Chester County are showing 80kt winds!!! I am sure that is not at the surface...

Hopefully, no power outages and just rain. 40 hrs without power with Sandy was long enough, but alot of people had it worse. Temp is still near 60.

Scary, roaring gusts over here, I fear my trees will uproot, much like when I lost a large pine during Sandy which cost a lot of cash to remove, as well as the damage the tree itself caused.

29.43 falling the worst is yet to come for the Delaware Valley...

Line of storms pushing NNE... these can be heavy like Dean said do not expect any lightning.

However with the heavy rain this will drag the high winds aloft to the surface in some case causing winds to gust up to 65mph in a few locations... Where this does occur power outages are possible.

Eliminate the wind and I will be very relieved, Trees down, power lines etc.. is not what I or anyone wants.

I'll take the rain over wind anyday. Of course snow is always welcomed.

Up to half an inch of rain so far. Been just rain since a little after 3pm. Had 30mph winds earlier in the day.

This front seems like it's just falling apart as it approaches jersey lol. Clearing skies in swedesboro? Man it's near impossible to get weather around here haha. This is painful as a weather nut.

hit or miss Mark. Thanks for the report. I think those winds are spotty on that line of storms.

We only got heavy rain with the band that came through near Dulles. It looked impressive on the radar but ended up being nothing.

yes at the same time the shear values are very high .. if a tornado formed it would be a fast spinup with very little warning time and dont expect thunder and lightning . i just updated the now cast to include this rob .. yeah very fun time esp for a severe weather fan like myself
