Good Afternoon

A complex system is moving into the greater va area overnight . We will see all winter weather forms in all areas . Snowfall will very on location . I will break this down. WDBJ7 from roanoke has my closest thoughts on the system so we will utilize there maps here also 

Precipitation at midnight will be moving in from the south and west . Far southwest va and tn will see mixed precipitation 

Between the hours of 1am and 3 am the snow and freezing rain will move into the area . Banding when this moves in may dictate the higher amounts 

Freezing Rain Sleet and snow will be accumulating across the area and the snow will start in the northern va area

By 9 am we will see sleet freezing rain and a change to all rain on the southside and heavier snow in northern va

By the evening we will see snow in the mountains

ROANOKE VA:  1-3 Inches

Lynchburg- Coating -1 inch

Falls Church: Coating -1inch

Covington- 2-4 inches

Lewisburg WV-2-4 inches
