An area of high pressure over the region tonight will provide the area with clear skies and light winds. Lows will be in the mid 40s in the city, the 30s elsewhere. Monday will be mostly sunny and warm. Highs will be in the upper 60s. The storm over the mid-section of the country will give parts of the midwest severe weather. We may see some showers as a weak warm front approaches Tuesday morning. Otherwise, the workweek will be dry and warm, with temperatures averaging about 20º above normal. Our last full week of winter will feel like a week out of early May. For Monday...Sunrise 7:12am Sunset 7:00pm. Enjoy.
Today down here in Ocean County we tickled 60* along the GSP, with what became a warmish breeze with that strong March Sunshine Blaring during the afternoon hours.
It has dropped chillingly quick since the sun set.
First night with the clock change resulting in extended light is always an indicator of warmer days soon enough.
Radiational cooling is active even with a slight breeze from the SSW with a very dry, clear sky.
Current 8:50 pm Temp is 43* and dropping pretty fast...
Again incredible warmth rules the nation looks like March heads the way December, January, and February in terms of above normal temps and in most cases well above normal reaching all time records!!
