For us here in DE, we got hit pretty good here this am and again this evening with a stronger storm. The storms this am probably did stabilize the atmosphere, but when the sun came back out the temperature rose to 87 degrees with dew points into the low 70s! Thus, the atmosphere destabilized allowing for the eruption of the evening storms.
Must be very stable air mass between the MCS and the line of storms because they just don't wanna combine. Storms should stay out of the Delaware valley.
In Delran NJ, north end of the line segment, and north edge of the warning box...it's just another thundershower. Zero wind, moderate rain, distant thunder. This is what I expected from the MCS, never expected it to hold together this far.

Now with this line of storms they can break up over mountains right? And if they come through this will cause stabilization of the atmosphere to keep out severe weather for later right?
