About Me
I am 13 years old and live in Lewes,DE. I love all kinds of extreme weather like blizzards, heat, cold, thunderstorms, tropical weather and fog. I have loved weather since I was introduced to it. I'm hoping to see my first severe thunderstorm, blizzard and hurricane. I've never experienced a real severe thunderstorm that I can remember with 0.75in hail or 58MPH winds. Weather just doesn't like me. I've gotten a 57MPH wind gust one night but it was around 4am (I am a heavy sleeper, I don't wake up from lightening) and I've gotten heavy rains of 3 inches in 2 hours which caused Route 1 to flood but I was at a swim meet 2 hours away. My new philosophy is that there is a rule for my area that I am only to get pop-up t-storm. Every storm that's headed towards me either turns another direction or dies, due to ESE winds or the marine layer or both. I always get a pop-up t-storm in front of the lines that hit me and the line behind it dies out. The only time I remember seeing hail was with a pop-up t-storm in front of a line that gave me pea sized hail around 0.25 inches in diameter. This has happened to me often so my philosophy seems pretty good. I'm hoping to see a lot of severe weather in the future and to share with all of you, if I ever get a severe storm in the future, I will make a video blog for all of you to watch.
